A pinch of
aromas and flavors, add a pinch of architectural heritage and in the end joins
a pinch of pharmaceutical science. Stir well. After well involved, we have
something delicious which calls Pharmacia Restaurant.
At Santa
Catarina view point area, facing the statue of Adamastor and Tagus River stands
a mansion owned by the National Association of Pharmacies where it is installed
one of the most charismatic restaurants of Lisbon: Pharmacia.
It mixes
the gastronomy to the history of Portuguese pharmacies with mastery. A kind of
Fusion Cuisine, full of creativity where perfumes of the Alentejo gastronomy seems
to be present.
A cozy
space with a superb view to the belvedere and the Tagus River, whose
environment inspired by the Portuguese pharmacies of the sixties, it is also a
fusion of styles.
So do not be surprised if you have in your table a bottle of still water that resembles a bottle of alcohol or even if the account will appear in one of those boxes for clinic analysis.
For
cocktails lovers Pharmacia has many and suggestive. You can always ask for an
Omeprazole (port and pear), Ibuprofen (cachaça, licor Beirão and lemon juice),
Paracetamol (honey, melon, and ginger beer), among many others.
This is a
nice place to lunch or dinner, but also desirable to have a drink in the
evening.
